DRC Special Education rights resource

The California Dept. of Education created SELPAs to ensure all special education students receive a high-quality, enriched program. Parents can speak directly with SELPA Program Specialists or Parent Liaisons for guidance on their child's IEP. SELPA staff can also attend IEPs and offer families an Alternate Dispute Resolution (ADR) process for resolving disagreements.
