Yvonne Gerdwagon lives with her daughter Anne, 18 years old, in Huntington Beach. Yvonne is a full time Regional Sales Manager for West and Mid West Grocery Retailers for Twang Partners LLC and a full time single mother. Anne was diagnosed with Chromosome 18 Ring at 1 year.  This disorder affects her cognitive and physical development.  Anne is attending the LINC program at Edison High School. She and her mother like doing outdoor activities like swimming , kayaking, riding tandem bikes, and attending live musical performances. Anne has behavioural challenges that manifest similar to autism.  She is taking medication to control her anxiety and triggers.  Yvonne advocates for Anne and other families to get better understanding of services and community programs that offer a better life for those with intellectual and physical disabilites.
