As a mother of an adult son and daughter with autism and related disabilities, I have been guided for years by other parents who generously shared their knowledge about services that we had never heard of. Often, this help came during our most desperate times and following years of being in the dark or paying needlessly. The appreciation I feel for those parents, and for the inspiring ways my children have flourished with these services, drives me to do the same for other families. One goal of AAPP  is to expand awareness and access. By shining a light on all networks of support, we hope to help many more children and adults experience limitless growth and continuous opportunities throughout their lives.
